Sequel to The Manville Gig, this one keeps you in Jersey a while longer. But don't worry, we're going to feed you while you're there, and slake your thirst too.

Of all things folks must occupy their minds with as they progress deeper into Century 21, yeast is not near the top of the list... because even though babies continue to be born and toilets continue to flush and still the sun rises in the east, there is always going to be something off, something unrighteous, something that shouldn't be.  And this time that something just happens to involve... yeast.

Sunrise is in the Yeast

This is Book Four of the Ellis Ghee Dark TTT series

In this follow up to The Manville Gig, we find Eddie Ray Richards back in his own time; he's had a bit of an attitude adjustment.

A bar in Jersey City, where a workingman’s crowd can enjoy food, drink and fellowship without much too hassle. A diner across the street where the same crowd can enjoy a decent meal upon leaving the bar, in particular a regional favorite, Pork Roll and cheese on a Kaiser roll. A bakery a few miles away in Bayonne, where the master baker uses unique and special ingredients in his dough, via a recipe that came from somewhen else; when synthetically enhanced yeast makes the bread and rolls come alive, and then some. Few folks think about the yeast that goes into the very bread they eat, but at these are the locations the yeast runs important.

Yeast is what will generate yet another Rutgers experimental study, one that tests the boundaries of time, space, and the universe, along with the very sanity for the those participating. The bakery is in a pseudo-res section of town, the bar and diner in a beat up, overused section of Jersey City.

And still, things are not what they seem... which seems to be the new normal around here.
